I suggest you go to CruiseCritic.com, click on "tips" and then go to "Holland America". You can then for "wheelchairs" or find something and / or see the name of his ship, if someone else published on this topic. Otherwise, your question and cruise lines will help to respond. You need to send a member to CC [and I think to look, to], but it is free. CC is an excellent source of information on all aspects of the cruise.
I am in a wheelchair, but the work of Holland America for a number of years.
In general, access for wheelchair users HAL is in order, were the horror stories they heard the old vessels, no doubt the poor access to wheelchairs. However, older ships have disappeared. There is no area of the new vessels that limited access and sports broadcasts and the staff will make every effort to have it easy for you.
The only difficult part of sailing are some of the gateways (depending on connection), but "products" that are specific to the transfer of a wheelchair for the beach and the staff for its operation.
