Help with scalp folliculitis.? - folliculitis -scalp

I just found out after all these years, I have folliculitis of the scalp. I have small red bumps that itch very badly on my scalp, then scab / dead skin from drying out and falling. I always thought it was dandruff, but it is not.

All the recommendations say that the hair and scalp, keep them as clean as possible. For me, Neutrogena T / Sal did not work so great. I think I'll just with regular shampoo, or try washing a selenium sulfide shampoo a few times a week.

What has been your best in this state? Suggestions?
